I spent years helping people grow before I dealt with my own beliefs.

Twenty-five years of leadership, four PSYCH-K® certifications, and one fairly uncomfortable realisation in the middle.

The story

For twenty-five years I worked in corporate leadership — developing teams, coaching managers into leaders, and building cultures that ran on trust rather than fear. I loved watching people grow into more than they thought they were allowed to be.

But I kept seeing the same thing. The most capable people in the organisation were often the most quietly stuck — held in place by fear, stress, and a self-doubt that no amount of development budget could touch.

I understood that struggle from the inside, because I was living it.

I grew up with childhood trauma that shaped how I saw myself and what I believed I was owed by my own life. For years I worked hard, succeeded, led with compassion — and underneath it all I was still running on beliefs formed in moments of pain and survival. Insight didn't move them. Neither did achievement.

PSYCH-K® did. It gave me a way to rewrite those patterns rather than manage them, and what came back was peace, confidence, and a kind of self-acceptance I'd stopped expecting.

That's the whole reason UpsideThink exists. I bring the leadership experience and the facilitation work together — for individuals releasing old stories, and for the organisations full of people carrying them.
